Privacy Policy

Jovily ("we", "us") takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we process it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Account information: name, email address (provided during registration via Clerk). Usage data: search queries, saved lists, campaign activity, and page visits. Payment information: billing details processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your credit card numbers. Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically.

We process your data to provide and improve the Service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — contract performance), to process payments (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to send transactional emails such as campaign confirmations (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and to analyse usage patterns to improve the product (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest).

We use the following third-party services to operate Jovily: Clerk (authentication and user management, EU data processing), Stripe (payment processing, PCI DSS compliant), Resend (transactional email delivery), Vercel (hosting and CDN), and AWS (database and infrastructure, EU region). All processors are bound by data processing agreements (DPAs) in compliance with GDPR.

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly, anonymised usage analytics — no tracking cookies are used for this purpose. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Under GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, restrict processing of your data, data portability, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@jovily.de. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised usage data may be retained for analytics purposes. Payment records are retained as required by German tax law (10 years).

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. The latest version is always available on this page.
